TMRC 20Km Run
The TMRC 20-Kilometer
Run was held on the 13th of December on Fort Huachuca.
Paul Valentin won over a small field of 13. His
time of 1:26:29 was only 19 seconds faster than Robert Core's time. Harold Hawes was a distant 3rd with a time of
1:36:19. Marylou Herrera topped three other
female competitors with a time of 1:57:22. Kelly
Martinez placed 2nd in 2:00:24 and Kathy Krebs was 3rd in 2:08:13. This event was the last Grand Prix event of the

For those of you who are
interested in the Grand Prix, every year ten to twelve races are designated as Grand Prix
events. Points are awarded for the first ten
places in each age group. Ten points awarded for first place, down to one point for tenth
place. At the end of the year the top three
participants in each age group receive awards at the banquet in February. Participants must compete in five Grand Prix
events to be eligible for an award. |
